Amazing Spring Chycara Wedding, Cornwall – Josh & Linzi

Spring time is here and wedding season is just beginning. It makes it such a special time to celebrate a Chycara wedding.

Spring can sometimes be hard to plan with the weather, but when the sun shines, it’s amazing!

The weather in Cornwall can be ever changing, especially in the spring. One minute you’ll be in bright, warm (maybe not hot) sunshine, and the next minute it will be blowing a right old gale with sideways misty rain. The kind of rain that feels like you’ve gone for a dip in the sea. The forecast could not make its mind up one minute it was saying sunny intervals, the next chucking down with rain. Just what you’d love when having an outdoor ceremony.

The sun shone like mad for the ceremony; it was so beautiful. It’s amazing what a little bit of sunshine can do. I was so happy for Josh and Linzi.

Have you ever been to Chycara? A special venue in Cornwall, not too far from the Bissoe (any runner will know exactly where this is the flattest trail around to do lots of your long runs … sorry, I’m digressing a little). The Cornwall wedding venue has a beautiful modern rustic barn, with the ceremony area on one of Chycara’s stunning ponds. You need to check this venue out if you’re after an amazing outdoor wedding experience. This Chycara wedding is one I’ll never be able to forget, and you’ll soon see why. Tell me about your The Beginning!

First met in school. We were in the same form and sat opposite each other on the table for 5 years. Went our separate ways after school. I was a customer in Linzi’s shop and we started talking and went from there. Our first date we went and had a few games of pool.

When and where did you get engaged?

Carn brea. July 5th 2020

At 10:22. Was on a dog walk and I said I wanted to take a nice photo. I put my phone down and said it was on a timer for a photo but I was really recording a video.
I then got down on one one and popped the question.

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?

Lilac color scheme. With a natural chill vibe.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Having everyone together that mean the most to us share our day.
