Behind The Scenes Of A Nancarrow Wedding
Driving down the windy dirt track brought us down a tree-covered archway into the beautiful Nancarrow Farm. The sun was in and out, and I was thankful I didn’t hear the pitter-patter of rain on the car’s roof. A beautiful Nancarrow wedding filled with love, laughter and happy tears from the word go.
There were so many epic bits of the wedding, so it’s hard to pick just one, from the beautiful barn ceremony to the touching wedding speeches and an airline presentation that any flight attendant would be envious of.

A Few Words From Lauren & Dan
Tell Me about The Beginning
We met at work at the beginning of 2023 and we both liked the look of each other, after a couple of months on a work night out we started chatting a bit more. In a totally bold move, after a few pints, Dan kissed me in the middle of spoons and from that point neither of us looked back.
On our first date we borrowed Dan’s brother’s camper van and went and spent the weekend in Brighton; we had fish and chips on the beach, watched the sunset and started to get to know each other on a deeper level.
When and Where did you get engaged?
We got engaged in December 2023 and we were in London watching Anees on his first tour in the UK and during Sun and Moon Dan asked me to marry him. The engagement ring had been sent to the wrong address, so it didn’t arrive in time so Dan used one of my rings until he got down on one knee and replaced the ring when it arrived.
What theme have you chosen for your wedding?
Natural and whimsical vibe. Champagne, neutrals, warm beige and copper palette with sage and moss green.
What are you most looking forward to on your day?
For me, Lauren, I’m most looking forward to all the important words in the vows and speeches; beyond that having some good food and lots of love and laughter with our nearest and dearest. For Dan, to show my unwavering love to Lauren and finally trying to see the dress she’s been trying to show me for the last 9 months.
