Polurrian Hotel Wedding, Cornwall
A winter wedding. Don’t you just love them? I know I do!
So let’s begin and dive in to find out why the wedding of Georgie & Andy at Polurrian On The Lizard was so special.
The weather in Cornwall can be ever changing, especially in November. One minute you’ll be in bright, warm (maybe not hot) sunshine, and the next minute it will be blowing a right old gale with sideways misty rain. The kind of rain that feels like you’ve gone for a dip in the sea. And Saturday 4th November had this brilliant ever changing weather (the forecast was so wrong). But this wasn’t a bad thing; rain brings you luck on your wedding day, and the sun shone brightly when it needed to … the sunset was just magical.
But a little bit more about the wedding than the lovely Cornish weather.
As a Cornwall wedding photographer, I love a Polurrian Hotel wedding, not only because of the stunning sea views but also because of the ability to have all your wedding in one spot. From guest accommodation, right up to dancing the night away.
Polurrian On The Lizard easily put itself onto The Top Wow Factor Wedding Venues in Cornwall and Devon, and it’s definitely become a firm favourite of mine for wedding photography. So yes, the Polurrian is must visit to all newly engaged couples planning their wedding.
Have you ever been to the Polurrian On The Lizard? A special venue in Cornwall perched right on the coast, overlooking the most beautiful and dramatic beach. It’s worth checking out if you’re currently looking for your wedding venue. This Polurrian hotel wedding is one I’ll never be able to forget, and you’ll soon see why. It was filled with loving emotion and care for everyone to have amazing on the day events. They definitely knew how to party and sign the day off with a massive bang.
It’s nearly time to let the photos (and the slideshow) do the talking. The photos can say so much more about this wedding than I can put into words. But first, let’s touch on a few details about the Polurrian.
A little bit about The Polurrian On The Lizard –
The Polurrian is set on the dramatic coastal cliff tops surround by tranquil blue waters and even its own small beach down a dirt track. It’s located in the picturesque village of Mullion. People quite often venture here to see the pretty harbour, to walk along the jaw dropping coast path, or to take a perch on ‘Love Rock’ and watch the world go by. First built in 1890, The Polurrian has been host to a number of famous people, from Winston Churchill to Marconi. The Polurrian is a wedding venue not to be missed.
