Stunning Sunrise Elopement At Holywell Bay – Coral & Tom

It felt like winter had crept in on this blustery morning at Holywell Bay. Looking towards the skies, dark, moody clouds were all around, but luckily we could see bands of blue and rays of golden light breaking through. The beauty of going at sunrise is how quiet the beach is as you make the first footprints in the sand. The vast beach at Holywell Bay allowed us to get so many beautiful photos: from the caves to the golden vast beach, and finally up into the sand dunes. You really are spoilt for choice.

A few words from Coral and Tom

Tell me about your The Beginning! 

We met randomly whilst waiting for a bus to take us to a nightclub. We got chatting and immediately made each other laugh.
Tom later won my heart after taking me on a first date. We got ice cream with a sea view.

When and where did you get engaged? 

We got engaged in June ’23. We were taking our dogs for a walk at Rame Head, chasing the sunset. We climbed to the top of the hill to the chapel at golden hour, and Tom popped the question!!

What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day? 

We never saw ourselves having a big traditional wedding. We have decided that an intimate, minimal and laid-back marriage suits us best

What are you most looking forward to on the day? 

We are most looking forward to leaving our intimate ceremony as a united couple. We will be making our way to the Cornish Coastline, where we will celebrate as newlyweds!

Top Tips! 

Don’t be afraid to marry in the way that you want or are comfortable with – even if it’s not the traditional way. It’s perfectly acceptable to branch out from the big white wedding!
