Bella & Tom’s Sandymouth Engagement Photo Shoot
Travelling north, well, kind of north, north Cornwall. Sandymouth is a beautiful, mainly unpoilt sandy/rocky beach, and it’s not too far from Bude. Picking a time that works best isn’t always easy, but I always tell my couples that they should go with a time close to sunset or sunrise. The perfect golden hour photo opportunity. So who are you, a sunset or sunrise lover, and which would you choose?
We went with a time close to sunset and started off with a walk along the rolling hills with their friendly dog. Heading down to the beach, we hoped for a little more sand to play with, but unfortunately the tide was in, so we stuck around the small waterfall and the dramatic cliff face. The beautiful sunset sun began to glow and lit up the water in a beautiful golden colour as it sprayed up after hitting a rock. These little bits just added to the enjoyment and final photos from Bella & Tom’s Sandymouth engagement photo shoot.

On Cornwall’s more wild untamed coastlaine, it is a popular place to visit to see its dramatic natural beauty, or if you’re feeling adventurous and don’t mind the cold, then jump in the sea for a surf. If you want to explore the area, take one of the hilly footpaths to many beautiful places like Tintagel.
