Behind The Scenes Of The Froginwell Wedding
Setting off for a wedding at Froginwell I always know I’m in for a good day. First stop was off to groom prep at Woddbury Park (about 10 minutes from Froginwell). Getting excited for the wedding day ahead, I pulled up to the Lodge so let’s dive in.
The nerves of what the weather had in store soon faded (the rain held off … yay). From the very beginning, there were many beautiful, funny moments happening everywhere I looked. To people reminiscing and sharing words of excitement for the memories they’ll create today. The kind of memories that you know will mean even more in years to come. It was so hard to pick out one special moment that stood out to me as their wedding photographer, but here are a few moments that were so special.
The small things really stood out to me, from the interactions of loved ones and hearing little stories about how and where they met to seeing the waves of happiness as Lauren walked down the aisle to the amazing band (The Wilsons). I nearly forgot about the alpacas!!! Just wow, that was a unique moment for everyone at Lauren and Alex’s Froginwell wedding.
This Froginwell wedding was one of those days that reminded me why I love what I do. I can’t wait for the next wedding celebration at Froginwell.

A Few Words From Lauren & Alex About Their Froginwell Wedding
Tell Me about The Beginning
We met at a wedding at Canonteign Falls in 2016. Alex was living in Surrey and I was in Exmouth so we spent lots of weekends travelling up to Surrey or down to Devon before Alex made the move to Exmouth in 2020.
When and Where did you get engaged?
In our back garden during an Easter egg hunt in 2021.
What theme have you chosen for your wedding?
We’ve gone for spring florals and hessian.
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
To being married and having all our friends and family around us.
